ECNL announces Kristin Brunner as Member Services Manager

RICHMOND, VA (Via ECNL) – The Elite Clubs National League has announced that Kristin Brunner has been hired as Member Services Manager. Brunner will lead registration and conference scheduling, and be the liaison between member clubs within the league to enhance communication and other league initiatives.

Brunner grew up in Northern Virginia playing club soccer for twelve years with the Prince William Sparklers under Ken Krieger, alongside ECNL Commissioner Jen Woodie and USWNT player Ali Krieger. She was inducted into Woodbridge High School’s Hall of Fame for both soccer and basketball, as a standpoint athlete in both sports. Following high school, she attended George Mason University where she continued her soccer career, captaining the team her senior season. Off the field Brunner spent her spare time as a Student-Athlete Mentor and member of SAAC (Student Athlete Advisory Committee) at George Mason.

She graduated with a Bachelors in History and went on to get her Masters in Curriculum and Instruction for Secondary Education. Brunner has spent the last 10 years teaching Social Studies, Government and Advanced Placement courses at Forest Park High School. Two years ago, she began volunteering at ECNL National Events, and realized her passion for the game that provided opportunities for her was something she missed. Educating the next generation of youth comes easy to Brunner, and made her decision to transition back into the youth soccer landscape seamless. She is currently in the process of relocating to Richmond with her husband, Aaron, and two children, Owen and Sophie.

“We are excited to officially welcome Kristin to the ECNL staff, as her work ethic and passion for the game will improve league operations.” said Jen Woodie, ECNL Commissioner “Her background as a student of the game coupled with her administrative skills will bring league relationships to another level.”
