Acceptance list, brackets released for 2017 Capital Fall Classic
(Via Richmond Strikers Tournaments) – Boys and girls brackets have been announced for the 2017 Capital Fall Classic, which will be played over the course of three weekends in November at field locations across the greater Richmond, Virginia area.
A total of 262 teams will compete in the Boys Weekend from November 11-12 in the U-9 through U-19 age groups.
The Girls Weekend, set for November 18-19, will host a total of 173 teams in the U-9 through U-18/19 age groups.
This year’s Capital Fall Classic will also feature a Recreational Weekend, set for November 4-5 featuring only in-house teams from the Richmond Strikers as well as the Chesterfield Strikers organizations.
Capital Falls Classic games are played on some of the top natural grass and artificial turf fields in the greater Richmond area, including at Striker Park, West Creek Complex, River City Sportsplex, Bon Secours Washington Redskins Training Center, Capital Park, Dorey Park, Mary B. Stratton Park, Poor Farm Park and Poor Farm Park.
The fall end-of-season event annually hosts a wide variety of teams from throughout the East Coast and beyond, providing teams with unfamiliar opponents, tactics and playing styles.
