U-16/U-17

BW Gottschee Academy (4-4-4, 16 points) snapped their game winless run in dramatic fashion, beating the Boston Bolts 2-1 in Northeast Division play. After a first half which saw both sides trade attacking chances but ultimately falling short the question was who would strike first at Mount Ida College. As it turns out it was the visitors who took the lead as Vladimir Lee gave BW the advantage in the 52nd minute. The goal was his first of the season. The Bolts leveled the score in the 67th minute with a goal from Triton Beauvois, his first of the year. But BW continued to force the question on the attacking end and they were rewarded with a game-winner by Justin Weiss in the 72nd minute.
