Ajax announce New York/NJ summer camp and coaching seminar
World renown soccer club, Ajax has teamed up with SPD (Saba Player Development) to bring an Ajax Academy soccer camp and Ajax Academy coaching seminar to the USA for the first time. The Ajax Academy youth summer camp will be followed by a one-day coaching seminar for academy directors, coaches and managers. The programs will help further the development of accomplished youth players and coaches alike.
Ajax’s youth academy is a world famous developer of youth soccer talent. The goal of Ajax is to form talented young players into top soccer players. Johan Cruijff, Marco van Basten, Frank Rijkaard, Wim Kieft, Wesley Sneijder, Dennis Bergkamp and Patrick Kluivert are but a few of the international stars that have successfully completed the training at the Ajax Youth Academy. Central within AJAX’s philosophy is the style of 4-3-3 play and training. To facilitate player development, Ajax has developed the TIPS model, which stands for Technique, Insight, Personality and Speed with each area consisting of ten criteria to further this goal.
