Adidas National Cup wraps up 2024 competition with action-packed finals

Charlottesville, VA – The 2024 Adidas National Cup, fueled by Honey Stinger, completed play over Presidents’ Day Weekend with championships being contested across the Boys U9-U19 and Girls U11-U19 divisions.

The event, which was hosted across Richmond, VA, Chesterfield, and Henrico Counties, saw over 150 high-level youth soccer teams battle across 29 divisions over the course of the three-day event. The finals were held at the RiverCity SportsPlex and Glover Park, two of the top youth soccer facilities in the country.

Matches were also live-streamed through BallerTV, providing friends and families at home the opportunity to support their teams. Through NextPro, players and their families can also purchase high-definition game films, highlights, and custom reels.

The weekend’s action provided a high-level competition for all participating teams and an opportunity to play against competition from across the American youth soccer spectrum. Teams from eleven states and Canada attended this year’s event, providing players with different play styles and solid preparation ahead of their spring league seasons. Throughout the knockout rounds and into the finals on Sunday, games were settled in the dying minutes, with penalty kicks proving to be the difference-maker in multiple championships (SCORES).

Across the competition, Stafford Soccer, Tri-State Soccer Academy, West Virginia Futbol Club, and Real Elite FC tied with the most teams, finishing either first or second in their divisions with four apiece. Rounding out the top five was Bethesda Soccer Club, which had three teams finish in the top two positions.
