Villanova women’s soccer announces signing of forward McKenzie Coleman

Villanova, Pa. – Villanova women’s soccer head coach Chris McLain and his staff have announced the second signing of the 2024 class, forward McKenzie Coleman.

“McKenzie is powerful target forward,” said McLain. “She has pace, power and a keen sense for scoring goals. She comes to Villanova at just the right time as our current squad likes to get the ball forward and get our forwards involved”.

Coleman earned four varsity letters in soccer at Conestoga High School.  She was named to first team all-district as well as earned all-academic team honors all four years. She also played for Rio Rapids and was a four-time state cup champion (2016-19).

McLain continued “McKenzie will be a handful for any opponent she faces, she is aggressive and possesses game changing abilities”

Coleman plans to major in Art Exploratory and chose Villanova because, the pristine education, quality coaches and the competitive soccer.”
