Girls Academy 2026 Finals: Semifinal matchups solidified in all age groups

After the opening round of games at the 2026 Girls Academy Finals, all five age groups are down to just four remaining teams.

See below for a rundown of where things stand entering the U13-U17 semifinals.

U13 Four Teams, One National Champion

City SC White, HTX, Michigan Jaguars, and Rhode Island Surf remain, each unbeaten through the National Playoffs and two wins from a National Championship. HTX (Frontier) and Michigan Jaguars (Midwest East) met in the 2026 Champions Cup Final, won by Michigan Jaguars, 1-0. Rhode Island Surf (21-3-2, 88 goals) and City SC White (19-2-1, 108 goals) round out the field.

U14 Four Different Roads, One National Championship

City SC White (5-0 over Seacoast United, Southwest champs), Lamorinda SC (1-0 over NEFC Red, reigning Champions Cup champion), SJEB FC (3-0 over Indy Premier SC, Mid-Atlantic North champions), and Midwest United (1-0 over No. 1 HTX, in its first Girls Academy season) advance to the semifinals.

U15 National Semifinals Set

NEFC Red (5-1 over Keystone FC), Lou Fusz Athletic (4-1 over STA, reigning Champions Cup champion), Tophat Gold (2-0 over Galaxy SC), and SC del Sol (2-1 over Real Futbol Academy) advance. Lou Fusz-Tophat is a Champions Cup Quarterfinal rematch — LFA won that meeting 3-0.

U16 Champions, Contenders, and a Breakthrough Story

City SC White (2-0 over Cedar Stars Academy–Monmouth, reigning Champions Cup champion), Galaxy SC (2-0 over Midwest United, back-to-back semifinal trip), Sporting Nebraska FC (1-0 over New Mexico Soccer Academy, having also beaten Tophat Gold and Syracuse Development Academy this postseason), and Indy Premier SC (5-4 on PKs over Spokane Shadow) advance.

U17 Four National Powers Advance to Championship Weekend

Tophat Gold (2-1 over FC United SC, reigning Champions Cup champion), Michigan Jaguars FC (3-0 over Indy Premier SC, 2025 National Finalist), SC del Sol (4-0 over St. Louis Development Academy), and Wasatch SC (2-1 over Lamorinda SC) advance to the semifinals.
