I am a driven center defensive midfielder and outside back defender with a strong understanding of both defensive and offensive roles. My strong soccer IQ and vision on the field allows me to anticipate the opponents’s moves, winning the ball, slowing down the opponent’s attack, preventing crosses into the box, as well as making smart decisions about when to pass, dribble, or tackle. Through my positional awareness, I know when to cover for teammates and maintain defensive balance. My speed and tackling ability allow for quick recovery and challenging for the ball in 1v1 situations. Using my physicality and strength, I am able to hold my own against other opponents, winning the ball, using well-timed tackles, intercepting passes, marking opponents effectively, and preventing the opposing team from advancing through the midfield. Using my technical skills, I am able to distribute the ball effectively, both short passes to maintain possession and longer passes to switch play or initiate attacks. I excel at maintaining composure and controlling the ball even under pressure, while covering a lot of ground throughout the game. I aspire to play soccer at the collegiate level while continuing my education in Business Management.
