My name is Avery Gleason, and I am a goalkeeper in the graduating class of 2026 with the goal of playing collegiate soccer while majoring in Film or Cinematic and Media Arts.

I’ve spent the past ten years playing competitive soccer, training year-round and traveling extensively to compete at the highest levels available in my region. Living in a rural area, I’ve had to go beyond my local community to challenge myself, competing in both Girls Academy (GA) and ECNL-RL, and earning selection to multiple Regional GA Talent ID events. I was also honored to be invited to the GA National Talent ID, where I trained alongside top athletes from across the country. These experiences have pushed me to grow not only as a goalkeeper, but as a teammate, communicator, and leader.

Academics are equally important to me. I currently hold a 4.25 cumulative weighted GPA while staying involved in a wide range of extracurricular activities. I’m a three-sport varsity athlete and team captain in soccer, volleyball, and basketball. I also serve as President of my school’s Drama Club, a Senior Mentor, and an active member of our theater and band programs. These experiences have helped me build strong leadership skills, balance competing demands, and collaborate with people from all backgrounds.
