Which Clubs Have The Most Current USMYNT Players? (2024-25)

In the second part of our series looking at the roster composition of the U.S. Youth National Team system, SoccerWire has published a full breakdown of the youth men’s program.
Similar to our reporting with the U.S. Women’s Youth National Team program, SoccerWire has accumulated all of the USMYNT rosters from June 2, 2024 to August 22, 2025 to see which clubs have had the most success in getting players called up. The data includes players from the U14-U23 teams.
Of the 86 teams that have fielded at least one USMYNT player, the Philadelphia Union have had the most with 22 players representing the United States at various youth levels. Coming in at second place with 16 players is the Los Angeles Galaxy, followed by Atlanta United FC and the Chicago Fire at 15. Closing out the top five are the San Jose Earthquakes, FC Dallas and New York Red Bulls, with 13 players each.
Notes:
- Only National Camps – featuring players from all over the country training at a central location – are eligible for inclusion.
- Regional ID Camps – exclusively featuring players from a single region – are not included.
- Players are counted as members of clubs that they were with at the time of each call-up. If they have since moved to a different club, they are still counted on the club that they were on at the time of roster selection.
- Players who had previously signed Homegrown Contracts prior to their first appearance are included.
- Players who represent international clubs are included as well.
- College players who had already graduated high school at the time of their call-ups do not count toward their youth club’s total.
- Of the players that have been called up to represent the USYNT over the past year, 75 of them are currently signed to Major League Soccer Homegrown Player contracts or previously had signed HGP contracts. Those players are italicized next to their corresponding team.
- There are also five players that are currently signed to or have in the past signed professional contracts with a USL Championship team. Those players are Da’Vian Kimbrough (Sacramento Republic), Chibuike Ukaegbu (Sacramento Republic), Bryce Jamison (Orange County SC), Matthew Corcoran (Birmingham Legion), Ramiz Hamouda (Birmingham Legion), and Drew Murray (formerly of the Oakland Roots, now with SC Freiburg)
- In addition to playing for the USMYNT, 17 players have also gone on to play for the senior USMNT. Those players are in bold below next to their corresponding team.
- Players from the 2024 Olympics ere included with the exception of players over the age of 23.
- Although players who earned their first call-up while playing in college are not included on this list, it should be noted that one players does fit into this category. Georgetown University (Tate Lampman)
