Katia is a strong center back/holding midfielder with explosive power and a tenacious ball-winning mentality. As a 4-year starter for Fairfax Virginia Union ECNL she combines physical strength, aerial ability (verified 26 inch vertical), and composure under pressure with the vision and soccer IQ to lead transition and create opportunities.

Katia is also a student-athlete at Hayfield Secondary school with a 4.26 GPA (weighted). She was awarded All-District Honorable Mention as a freshman starter for Hayfield’s varsity soccer team, helping to usher the team to a district championship and regional semi-finals in 2026.

She also excels at other sports, earning All-Region honors for girls wrestling, competing with the U16 Virginia National Duals wrestling team, and was recognized by her Varsity wrestling coaches with the Lancaster Leadership Award as a freshman. She is also an NWCA Scholar All-American.
