Boyd Okwuonu replaces Eric Miller on Men’s Olympic Qualifying roster

CHICAGO (Via U.S. Soccer) – U.S. Under-23 Men’s National Team defender Boyd Okwuonu has been added to the Olympic Qualifying Roster to replace Eric Miller, who returned to the Montreal Impact due to injury.

CONCACAF Olympic Qualifying Championship rules allow for the replacement of injured players up to 24 hours prior to the first tournament match. Miller returned to his club due to a groin injury and Okwuonu was added to the roster as his replacement last night before the deadline.

Okwuonu has made eight appearances with the U-23’s this year.
