My name is Riley Marino. I am a student-athlete currently in my junior year at Immaculate Heart Academy. Ever since I was little I have been told I am a very coachable, team player with a rocket of a left foot. As with my current club team World Class FC ECNL G09, I am a team leader on and off the field and offer positive motivation to all my teammates. Through my motivation and determination to succeed I have worked hard to master proficiency of my right foot as well to now have coaches say I am a two-dimensional player with great passing skills. I support, contain, and tackle as I have captured the essence of my role on my team. As a good defender, I am strong in my tactical skills, my mental toughness, and my physical fitness.

These skills have led to success in my academics as well. Currently, I have a 4.44 GPA with Distinguished Honors all marking periods of my Freshman and Sophomore year at Immaculate Heart Academy while playing for both my high school team and my club ECNL team. I was nominated for best sophomore and junior in the state and received All Conference United Division 1st team and 2nd team all county. I scored the game winning goal for my high school in the state semi finals 2 years in a row. During Playoffs in Seattle I scored the game wining goal in the group stage and was considered a top standout. I take to heart the words of my role model Lionel Messi “You have to fight to reach your dream. You have to sacrifice and work for it.”  These words are words that help me “Play Like a Champion” every day.
