University of Florida signs Vanessa Kara as graduate transfer

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (Via University of Florida)Vanessa Kara is joining the University of Florida Gators soccer team next fall as a graduate transfer. Kara, a 5-4 attacker, played three seasons at Drexel and redshirted the 2018 season.

Florida’s 2019 roster now includes 20 returners, two transfers (Madeline Gravante) and 11 signees.

“Vanessa is a high-character individual who is hard worker, a proven goal scorer, has a great soccer IQ and brings much experience playing at collegiate level. We look forward to Vanessa joining the Gators this fall.”

    • Will receive bachelor’s degree from Drexel in civil engineering. Plans to pursue Master’s of Science in Management at UF.
