2026

Chandler Cozart

Defender
GA

Leads an NTH-NASA attacking unit that has already scored 24 goals in just eight games in ECNL-RL Carolinas play. Either as a forward or in the midfield, Cozart off of his first touch can immediately drive at defenders, forcing them out of position and opening up chances for his teammates.

Tristan Frederickson | Goalkeeper
Florida West FC 08 (FL)

Finished ECNL Florida Conference play for the fall with a pair of strong wins over FC Palm Beach (3-2) and FC Prime (3-2), making several key saves in each match preserve six points. Frederickson can make diving saves in traffic and knows when to slow play down to give his team time to organize.

2025

Gavin Lewis

Defender
NC

Anchors the NCFC Youth Academy 2007 defense at the center-back position, using his speed to make diagonal runs to halt breakaway opportunities. Lewis is a leader on the field for NCFC, willing to make the decisive clear in dangerous situations and take on difficult marking assignments (he was also their captain in 2021). He can also play in the defensive midfield, using his strong defensive skills to make key interceptions and jumpstart the attack.

Camden Danosky | Defender
South Carolina Surf 07 (SC)

Leads a Surf backline that has allowed just 17 goals this season in ECNL Southeast Conference play. The 2022-2023 All-Conference First Team member can make the little cuts against an attacker that forces them go away from goal, giving him the space necessary to make the steal or clear the ball out of play.

Mason Poveromo | Midfielder-Defender
Charlotte Independence Academy 07 (NC)

Alternates between the midfield and defense for Independence’s Academy team, using his quickness and speed to stem the opposition’s attacking ambitions and create their own chances. Poveromo can lace together multiple pass sequences that help build the attack from the back. An ECNL All Mid-Atlantic Conference First Team player last season, he has been instrumental to Charlotte getting out to a fast start in league play this season (3-0-0, 9 points).

———————

Ryan Walsh | Forward-Midfielder
Beach FC 06/05 (VA)

Scored the game-winning goal in stoppage time in Beach’s critical 3-2 win over Northern Virginia Alliance early last month to retain their undefeated record in league play (6-0-2, 20 points). Up top, Walsh can take even the smallest of spaces and use it to his advantage. Walsh was selected to participate in last May’s ECNL National Selection Game.

———————

Dax Booth | Midfielder
Beach FC 06/05 (VA)

Walsh’s partner in the midfield, Booth works seamlessly with his attack partner to create a dangerous 1-2 combination for Beach. While his passing is on point, he is also more than comfortable taking a shot at goal, scoring a key goal in their 3-3 draw against NCFC Academy. At the high school level, Booth was named to the Virginia High School League All-State Class 5 First Team for his work last spring with FW Cox High School.

———————

LaRue Hedges | Defender
South Carolina United 07 (SC)

Rotating from defender to midfielder, Hedges uses his versatility and feel for the game to anchor down any position from the backline to the midfield. He elevates his teammates to push above and beyond. Won NPL National Championship in 2021. In his first season at South Carolina United he aided in improving the team’s record. Also plays for club in U19 USYS NL-Piedmont Conference. Multi-sport athlete who is also starting placekicker for his high school football team and was named all-region in track and field.

2024

Will Jackson II | Midfielder
Alabama FC 05/06 (AL)

Leads a high-flying Alabama attack that has scored 28 goals this season in ECNL Southeast Conference play. On the ball, Jackson can turn even the most innocuous dribble into a dangerous opportunity, either going directly at defenders or laying off a crisp pass for a teammate. He has verbally committed to playing college soccer next season at Alabama.

———————

Carson Brice | Defender
Charlotte Soccer Academy 06/05 (NC)

Started the 2023-2024 strong with a decisive 3-1 win over Northern Virginia Alliance. Brice, who was selected to participate in last year’s ECNL National Selection Game in Virginia, can play at either center-back or right outside back. No matter where he is slotted on the field he is a difference-maker, able to turn a defensive stop and immediately begin the attack.

———————

Samuel Braidwood | Goalkeeper
Beach FC 06/05 (VA)

A two-sport athlete, Braidwood has excelled both on the soccer field for Beach FC and the gridiron, having committed to playing college football next season at William and Mary. As Beach’s goalkeeper, he has earned three clean sheets this season including recently blanking NC Fusion 3-0. Braidwood possesses a booming left foot, but can also make the key save in traffic.
