Diego Ochoa Gomez and Pedro Velasquez-Rey each found the net for Arlington, as the Northern Virginia side edged out D.C. United 2-1. Jeremy Garay gave D.C. an early lead in the 10th minute, but Gomez and Pedro Velasquez-Rey struck in the second half to lead Arlington to the comeback win.

Four different players – Andres Dapena, Esteban Espinosa, Luis Fernandez-Valle and Tyler Johnson – scored for Kendall SC as the team used a balanced attack to overpower in-state opponent Armada FC Pro Academy 4-2. All four of Armada’s goals came in a dominant second half performance. Armada also got its attack going in the second half, as Niklas Schaffner and Garrison Tubbs scored within nine minutes of each other.

Noah Reid and Jackson Temple provided the scoring for Continental FC DELCO in a season opening victory over Cedar Stars Academy. Fabian Diaz cut the lead to one for Cedar Stars in the 68th minute, but the Continental defense clamped down for the remainder of the match to preserve the win. Continental FC goalkeepers Tyler Okin and Brent McNair combined to hold the Cedar Stars attack in check.
