US Club Soccer hosts top 2009 players at id2 West National Training Camp

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Seventy-two players representing 51 clubs and 14 states participated in a US Club Soccer id2 National Training Camp, Feb. 3-5 in Sacramento, California.

It was the second of a pair of id2 National Training Camps that US Club Soccer hosted for top ’09 boys and girls players. This is the penultimate stage of id2 progression, as top performers from this id2 West National Training Camp and the East Coast equivalent last month in Florida will be selected to id2 National Selection teams competing in England in April.

Players were selected from 12 id2 Selection events held during the fall, as well as various Player Development Programs (PDP) and nationwide scouting efforts.
