MURCIA, Spain (Via U.S. Soccer) – Playing its final contest of a two game series of friendlies against the France Under-21 Men’s National Team, the U.S. U-20 MNT found a late goal in the 90th minute from midfielder Frankie Amaya to lift the USA to victory, splitting the two-game series after falling 2-0 to Les Bleus on March 21.

After a scoreless first half, USA head coach Tab Ramos brought in subs Justin Rennicks and Frankie Amaya in the 62nd and 86th minutes, respectively, to spark the team’s offensive attack. As the game wound down, the USA continued to push forward. With the ball at his feet, Rennicks made a run down the left flank before crossing for Amaya, who finished the opportunity.
