U.S. U-18 MNT heading to Argentina for international camp

CHICAGO (Via U.S. Soccer) – U.S. Under-18 Men’s National Team is headed to Buenos Aires, Argentina for its first international camp set to take place from March 7-17.

Head coach Omid Namazi named a 20-player roster, with 10 players associated with MLS Academy teams. Eight players were present for the U-18 MNT camp held in January in Bradenton, Florida. All players on the roster were born in 1999 and could potentially earn a spot on the U.S. U-20 squad that will play in the 2017 CONCACAF U-20 Championship in Nicaragua with the aim of gaining a berth at the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup in South Korea.

The U-18s will play three matches during their camp in Argentina.
