Texas A&M welcomes San Juan SC alum Shea Ryan on transfer from Kansas

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M soccer team boosted its offensive arsenal with the addition of former Big 12 striker Shea Ryan, head coach G Guerrieri announced.

“Shea is a big addition to our squad,” Guerrieri said. “We love her work rate, both in attack as well on defense. She creates problems for the opponent through her great physical strength, speed, and tenacity. She immediately makes us more dangerous in attack and I’m sure she will be a big favorite of our Ellis Field fans.”

In 2024, Ryan played in 22 games for Kansas, including two starts. She logged two goals and one assist with markers against West Virginia and South Dakota State.

Ryan, who arrives in Aggieland with three years of eligibility, spent her freshman campaign with a Kansas Jayhawks squad which posted a 13-6-4 record, including 6-4-1 in the Big 12.

Ryan prepped at Granite Bay High School. She also laced it up with San Juan Soccer Club ECNL. The Roseville, California, native returns to her hometown this summer to player her second season with Iron Rose FC of the Women’s Premier Soccer League. Last season she tallied three goals and one assist in six matches with IRFC.
