TCU introduces massive 2025 signing class, featuring 17 total additions

FORT WORTH – TCU women’s soccer head coach Eric Bell has announced the 2025 signing class that features eight transfers and nine freshmen student-athletes.

“We are very excited about this recruiting class,” said Bell. “Ryan Higginbotham, Tom Serratore and Madison Kroger have done a tremendous job of identifying these very talented young ladies, and we are super excited to have them be a part of our soccer program. We have addressed many key needs with this class and I’m certain that our fans will be very pleased with the new talent in our team.”

Multiple states have produced two individuals who are joining the Horned Frogs as freshmen, including Arizona and Texas, while two athletes also come from outside of the U.S.

The remaining incoming freshmen hail from Missouri, Tennessee and Virginia. The transfer student-athletes are coming to Fort Worth from Miami (Fla.), Portland, San Francisco, SMU and Texas A&M.

Ally Brown (Phoenix, Ariz.), Yasmine Decombe (Montreal, Canada), Breahn Fisher (Franklin, Tenn.), Kamdyn Fuller (Southlake, Texas), Hannah Harms (Vienna, Va.), Filippa Hoegild (Copenhagen, Denmark), Leah Negeri (Dallas, Texas), Lainey Swanson (Phoenix, Ariz.) and Grace Vest (Kansas City, Mo.) are the freshmen joining TCU this year.

Coming the TCU from previous schools is Sydney Becerra (Flower Mound, Texas; Texas A&M), Quinn Cornog (Dallas, Texas; Texas A&M), Claireese Foley (Prosper, Texas, Miami (Fla.)), Georgia Leb (Colleyville, Texas: Texas A&M), Katana Norman (Arcadia, Calif.; Portland), Sadie Paul (Fort Worth, Texas; SMU), Kira Ybarra (Long Beach, Calif.; San Francisco) and Emma Yolinsky (Prosper, Texas; Texas A&M).

Played club soccer at Tennessee SC under coach Ronnie Woodard … made it to nationals for four consecutive years from 2021 to 2024 … named First Team All-Conference during the club season in 2023 … was a starter for Ensworth High School for four seasons … named to the 2024 United Soccer Coaches All-Region Team … earned All-Region and All-State honors in each year at Ensworth … tabbed a 2024 High School Girls Soccer All-American and played in the All-American game in South Carolina … 2024 High School Soccer League Regional MVP … Middle Tennessee Player of the Year recipient … ked team with 23 goals her junior campaign to help guide the team to the TSSAA Semifinals for the first time in program history.

Appeared in 13 matches for the Hurricanes in the 2024 season after redshirting in 2023, tallying 11 starts … logged 1,044 minutes in goal throughout the season … compiled a record of 4-5-3 in the net … posted 28 saves on the year with a save percentage of .718 … had three shutouts on the year … named the ACC Defensive Player of the week, in addition to earning a spot on the TopDrawer Soccer National Team of the Week after earning back-to-back shutouts against Virginia Tech and FAU … recorded a career-high seven saves against Virginia Tech (Oct. 3).

Played club soccer at Dallas Trinity FC under coach Pauline McDonald and Solar SC under coach Adrian Solca … selected to a USA u17 camp back in February … was a two-time national champion and won the conference championship in every year at the club level … scored the most goals and points in school history at Southlake Carroll High School … named Academic All-State, Newcomer of the Year during her freshman campaign, Midfielder MVP in her sophomore season and Overall MVP her senior year.

Played club soccer at Solar SC under coach Adrian Solca … was a two-time national champion and five-time conference champion while playing at the club level … was named high school MVP and earned First Team All-District honors … tabbed an Academic All-State member and was a part of National Honors Society.

Named to the 2024 United Soccer All-West Region and tabbed First Team All-WCC honors … started 55 games and appeared in 57 in her career… amassed over 4,600 minutes on the pitch… contributed five assists… registered 13 shots and two on goal… helped lead Portland to 30 shutouts over the course of her career.
