Soccer Management Company (SMC), one of the largest youth soccer tournament management companies in the United States has named SoccerWire.com as its Official Media Partner through 2016.

As the Official Media Partner, each of SMC’s tournament clients will have access to special advertising and promotional options reserved only for SoccerWire.com partner events. SMC events will also be placed on the long list of youth soccer tournaments on their online Events Calendar, while SMC will have its tournament management services promoted on SoccerWire.com.

“Partnering with SoccerWire.com will provide a big boost for our gaining exposure for our clients,” said SMC owner Steve Lovgren. “As we have grown over the years, we have seen the impact SoccerWire.com advertising and coverage has had in helping tournaments, so I couldn’t be more excited about the benefits here.”

soccerwireSMC tournaments represent a wide geographic range, with several concentrated in the Midwest and Florida where SoccerWire’s readership is growing, as well as several in the Mid-Atlantic where SoccerWire has been the dominant publisher of youth soccer news for nearly a decade. Their rapid growth in the crowded field of tournament management companies is no accident according to Lovgren.

“SMC specializes in establishing relationships for long term with clubs,” he explained. “This consistency over time is a recipe for quality competition and professionally run events.”

As the Official Media Partner of SMC, SoccerWire.com will have exclusive access to produce and publish news stories, photos, social media for select SMC events, will appear on event websites and in direct communication to event attendees; as well as other branding opportunities as they come up on a per-event basis.

“This partnership is a great opportunity to spread our brand and grow our readership in a way that fits perfectly with our accelerating growth plans,” said SoccerWire.com founder and executive editor Chris Hummer. “We’ve always been strong in the Mid-Atlantic region, but as the sport at the youth level enjoys unprecedented focus, this partnership fits perfectly with our expanded vision for covering the youth player development pyramid on a national scale.”
