Pacific announces departure of co-head coaches Danesha Adams and J.J. Wozniak

STOCKTON, Calif. – The University of the Pacific announced it will undergo a change in leadership with the women’s soccer program after parting ways with co-head coaches Danesha Adams and J.J. Wozniak.

The duo served at the helm of the program for four seasons after each spending a season as an assistant coach on staff.

“Coach Adams and Coach Wozniak came to Pacific in March 2020 and helped navigate the program through a national pandemic. We thank them for their service and are appreciative of their efforts with the Tigers,” said Director of Athletics Adam Tschuor.

“A new age of college athletics is soon upon us. Over the last 18 months, we have made great strides in fundraising, facilities projects, and other strategic initiatives to ensure that we are ready to take our place at the top of the WCC and beyond. Our expectations at Pacific are clear, we expect our programs to compete for conference titles and make NCAA tournaments. Our mission now is to go find a new leader for our women’s soccer program that will do exactly that.”

Adams and Wozniak leave the Tigers program with a 28-35-15 career record.

A national search is underway for the next head coach.
