COLUMBUS, Ohio (Via Ohio State University) – The Ohio State men’s soccer team has added another signee to the 2019 class, head coach Brian Maisonneuve announced Wednesday. Tommy Marusic is a defender from Concord, Ohio. The 2019 recruiting class now brings in one forward, one midfielder and three defenders.

“We are excited to have Tommy as part of our 2019 class,” Maisonneuve said. “Tommy is a very good soccer player, excellent student, and will be a great addition to our locker room. I really enjoy the way Tommy sees the game tactically, has good commitment defensively and possesses the technical ability to play forward. Tommy is great addition to our Buckeye family.”

Marusic will join the fellow recruits: Channing Chasten (Forward/Queen Creek, Ariz.), Brayden Durbin (Midfield/Pickerington, Ohio), Sean Ryan (Defender/Chatham, N.J.) and Owen Sullivan (Defender/Dublin, Ohio).
