NCAA Women’s Soccer 2026 Rankings: Michigan State takes over No. 1 spot

Intercollegiate Women’s Soccer Organization for Coaches (IWSOC) and United Soccer Coaches released the newest Top 25 poll following the 5th week of competition in the 2026 NCAA women’s soccer season.

Michigan State has taken over the top spot, followed by Duke holding steady at No. 2, Wake Forest at No. 3, Vanderbilt at No. 4 and Ohio State rounding out the Top 5.

Four new teams – No. 17 Notre Dame, No. 18 Utah State, No. 24 Oklahoma and No. 25 Central Florida – have entered the Top 25 after previously receiving votes.
