NCAA Women’s Soccer 2026 Rankings: Five previously unranked teams enter Top 25

Intercollegiate Women’s Soccer Organization for Coaches (IWSOC) and United Soccer Coaches released the newest Top 25 poll following the 8th week of competition in the 2026 NCAA women’s soccer season.

North Carolina remains in the top spot, followed by Michigan State at No. 2, Vanderbilt at No. 3, Wake Forest at No. 4 and Alabama rounding out the Top 5.

Five teams – BYU, Michigan, Florida State, Arkansas and Texas – have entered the coaches’ poll this week, after previously sitting outside the Top 25. See below for a look at the full coaches’ poll following Week 8.
