Mixed results for Chicago Fire Academy teams on homestand

(Via Chicago Fire Academy) – The Chicago Fire Academy teams returned to action his past weekend, hosting Crew SC Academy Wolves at all three levels on the Toyota Park Turf Field on April 17.
For the U-18s, Lyes Ghezali and Djordje Mihalovic got on the scoresheet but the visitors earned a 3-2 come-from-behind victory over the Fire, who moved to 8-3-4 on the year following the loss.

The U-16s picked up a 2-0 victory in the following match courtesy of goals from Victor Bezerra and Brayden Callipari. The win improved the U-16s to 9-5-1 on the year, good for third in the Mid-America Division (1.8667 points per game) and closing the gap with second-place Crew SC.
The U-14s fell 4-1, with the Fire’s lone goal coming from Miguel Herrera.
The Academy teams now hit the road and travel to take on St. Louis Scott Gallagher on Saturday, April 23.
