(Via Lake Norman SC) – LNSC has announced two new staff members. Scott Flowers will assume the role of LNSC Senior & Junior Boy’s Director at the end of the spring. Adam Tipper will serve as the club’s newest Staff Coach and At-Large Director of Coaching.

Flowers began working for LNSC over the winter and has been coaching three teams – the U11 Force Eagles, U15 Force United and U16 Force United. He and his family moved to the area from Birmingham, Alabama where he was most recently the Executive Director of Trussville United. He has coached at several clubs previously, coached high school soccer and served on the Alabama ODP staff. He holds a USSF B license and an NSCAA Advanced National Diploma.

“I am honored to join Lake Norman Soccer Club as the next Senior Boys’ Director of Coaching,” Flowers said. “The club’s tradition and history of success speak for themselves. To build upon Gary’s success with the boys is an honor and a task that I am ready to pursue.  I believe my experience will benefit this already great staff and my passion for working with kids will shine working with the boys.  The future is bright at Lake Norman Soccer Club and to join Chad’s vision at this time is truly an opportunity I relish. Thanks to all of the Lake Norman soccer family that have made this transition so easy and welcoming for me.”

Tipper joins LNSC following a four-year run as a coach at Impact Football Club and Premier UK. Adam, originally from the United Kingdom, has spent a number of years coaching in the states and working through several professional British clubs such as West Ham FC, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Derby County. He led one of his former teams to a North Carolina State Cup title and coached in the Region 3 Premier League. Tipper will work with teams in both the Central and South branch of LNSC.

“I am very much looking forward to be working with all the Lake Norman staff and can’t wait to meet all the new players,” said Tipper.
