LA Galaxy Academy players ink 17 commitments on Signing Day

CARSON, Calif. (Via LA Galaxy) – The LA Galaxy Boys’ and Girls’ Academies announced the commitment of more than a dozen players to universities across the United States as part of National Signing Day on Tuesday.
A total 10 Galaxy Boys’ Academy players announced their signing to five respective universities: Ian Lonergan (UC Berkeley), Paolo Carrillo-Weisenburger (UC Berkeley), Taylor Davila (UC Berkeley), Jonathan Estrada (UC Berkeley), Jose Delgado (Cal-State Fullerton), Carlos Anguiano (Cal-State Fullerton), Josh Hurwitz (Boston University), Jake Arteaga (University of Portland), Kelee Cornfield-Saunders (University of Portland), and Aristotle Zarris (Wake Forest).
The LA Galaxy Girls’ Academy which was founded late last year, had seven players sign with universities: Noa Schumacher (Cal-State Fullerton), Katelin Bebe (Cal-State Fullerton), Kaya Hawkinson (Cal-State Fullerton), Katelyn Patterson (Cal-State Fullerton), Sonja Lopez (Kansas Wesleyan), Colby Wilson (Eastern Washington), and Olivia Vega (Cal Poly Pomona).
