Jill Ellis names final USWNT roster for 2018 Tournament of Nations
CHICAGO (Via U.S. Soccer) – U.S. Women’s National Team head coach Jill Ellis has named the final 23-player roster for the 2018 Tournament of Nations.
The USA opens the four-team tournament against Japan on July 26 at Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas City, Kansas (6 p.m. CT on FS1). The USA will also face Australia on July 29 in East Hartford, Conn. (7 p.m. ET on FS1) and finish against Brazil on Aug. 2 in Bridgeview, Ill. (7:30 p.m. CT on FS1).
Japan, Australia and Brazil have all qualified for the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

The two players released from the training camp roster are Houston Dash forward Kealia Ohai and defender Jaelene Hinkle, who will join her North Carolina Courage club to play in the International Champions Cup Women’s Tournament, taking place at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami from July 26-29. The Courage join three other top teams in the world, including five-time UEFA Champions League winner Olympique Lyonnais, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain.
