Harvard University women’s soccer 2019 schedule released

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (Via Harvard University) – Ivy League champions in six of the last 11 seasons, Harvard women’s soccer begins its return to the pitch in August, as the program has released its 2019 schedule. The campaign features 10 home games, with fixtures to be played at Jordan Field or Ohiri Field.

The Crimson first treks to Northeastern to open the season on August 30, before returning home for four-consecutive contests against Quinnipiac, Northwestern, Massachusetts and San Francisco. Harvard hits to the road for a single contest against Connecticut on Sept. 15, and faces UMass Lowell and Long Island at home Sept. 18 and 21 in its final pre-conference action.

The Ivy League season begins Sept. 28, with Harvard hosting Penn. The Crimson will weather battles on the road at Yale and Cornell Oct. 5 and 12, respectively, before facing Boston University in its final non-conference game on Oct. 15.

Harvard will see a pivotal series of home games during the stretch run of the Ancient Eight, taking on Brown, Princeton and Dartmouth Oct. 19, 26 and Nov. 2. The regular season comes to a close on Nov. 9 at Columbia.

All of Harvard’s home games, as well as the entire Ivy League schedule, will be available for viewing on ESPN+. The Crimson finished third in the Ivy League a year ago at 4-2-1.
