Goalkeeper Duels, clinics added for Jefferson Open 3v3 Tournament

(Via Richmond Strikers) – Richmond-based goalkeeper training company ‘Own the Goal: Elite Goalkeeper Training’ will host Goalkeeper Duels and clinics alongside the 2016 Jefferson Open 3v3 Tournament, kicking off July 16 at West Creek Complex.

The event will provide goalkeepers with an opportunity to battle for distribution and shot-stopping supremacy as they go to head-to-head in Keeper Duels, a 1v1 competition. Goalkeepers will be grouped according to U11/12, U13/14 and U15-U18 divisions and are guaranteed at least three games. The round robin format will conclude with a semifinal and final in each age bracket.

In addition to the Keeper Duels, Own The Goal will offer a 75 minute goalkeeper clinic focusing on shot stopping and distribution techniques- just what every goalkeeper needs to prepare for the standoffs they will face in the Goalkeeper Duels.

Players may register for Keeper Duels and the clinic separately or package them together for a discount.
