ECNL: San Diego Surf take four of five from SoCal

San Diego Surf took four out of five matches against So Cal Blues as the two clubs were the only ones in action in the Elite Clubs National League on the holiday weekend.
The SoCal Conference-leading Under-14 Surf side defeated So Cal Blues 2-0 to move to 10-1-0 on the season, while Blues fell to 5-5-0. Surf’s U-14s have scored 23 goals on the season while allowing just three.
The Blues took the U-15 encounter, 3-1. Blues are in second place in the conference at 7-1-1, having scored 25 goals while surrendering just four. Surf is right behind them in third place at 7-2-1; it has scored 31 goals while giving up just eight on the season.
Surf also won the U-16, U-17 and U-18 matchups, 2-1, 1-0 and 3-2 respectively. The loss for the U-16 Blues (6-1-2) was the first of the season, while Surf’s U-16 moved to 5-5-1 and stand in sixth in the conference. The U-17 Surf move to 6-1-4 and are in third place in the conference, while their counterparts with the Blues are directly behind at 6-3-0 and in fourth.
The U-18 Surf is 4-4-2 and in fourth place, while Blues are 2-4-3 and in sixth.
The ECNL resumes play this weekend with more than 100 games on the schedule.
