ECNL Midwest, Texas conferences in action

The ECNL’s Midwest Conference picks up steam this weekend with eight of its nine clubs in action. Only the Minnesota Thunder Academy, which doesn’t begin its conference schedule until November, is idle.

FC Wisconsin Eclipse taking on Sporting Blue Valley, and and Eclipse Select SC, which has played once, hosts Sockers FC Saturday, while Michigan Hawks take on St. Louis Scott Gallagher and Vardar plays host to St. Louis Scott Gallagher-Metro.

The Texas Conference, in which every club has played at least one match, continues this weekend as Challenge SC hosts both Dallas Sting and FC Dallas, while Lonestar SC plays a pair on the road at TSC Hurricane and Dallas Texans.

Last week, Challenge SC’s Chaylyn Hubbard, at age 12, made her ECNL debut memorable by scoring a goal in the club’s 4-1 win over Texas Rush.

Solar-Chelsea Soccer Club plays a single match over the weekend against D’Feeters, while AHFC hosts both FC Dallas and Sting.
