Big 12 Soccer Preseason Poll and All-Conference Team revealed for 2026 campaign

TCU’s soccer program was voted atop the Big 12 coaches’ poll ahead of the 2026 season after its first appearance in the Women’s College Cup a season ago. The Big 12 soccer preseason honors were voted on by the league’s head coaches who were prohibited from voting for their own programs or players.

The Horned Frogs tallied 222 points and earned 13 first-place votes to lead the league’s preseason poll for the second consecutive year after winning the Conference’s regular season titles in 2024 and 2025.

Colorado posted its highest position ever in the preseason poll with 187 points and one first-place vote. Kansas and West Virginia tied for third with 182 points, while the Mountaineers garnered a first-place vote.

Texas Tech was voted fifth after earning 180 points and a first-place vote. BYU, Baylor and UCF rounded out the top half of the poll. The top eight teams of the 2026 preseason poll represented the Big 12 in the 2025 NCAA Tournament, which tied the Conference record for most teams earning bids.

The preseason team features 19 2025 All-Big 12 honorees, including the last two Big 12 Forwards of the Year, CU’s Hope Leyba (2025) and TCU’s Bella Diorio (2024), and last season’s Big 12 Freshman of the Year, TCU’s Kamdyn Fuller.

The league returns eight of its top goal scorers alongside seven of its assist and point leaders from a season ago.

Big 12 teams open their 2026 campaign on August 12 and 13.
