Connecticut’s Oakwood SC to join ECNL Boys for 2026-27 season

RICHMOND, VA – ECNL Boys announced that Oakwood SC (CT) will join the league for the 2026-27 season, where the club will play in the New England Conference.

“We are very excited to welcome Oakwood SC to the New England Conference, further strengthening the league and platform in this part of the country,” said ECNL Boys Commissioner Jason Kutney. “Oakwood SC has been a premier club in the Northeast of this country for many years and their leadership recognizes the opportunities presented by the ECNL align directly with their club goals.”

Since the club was founded in 1988, Oakwood SC has been a pillar of success in New England. The club has won four national championships, 22 regional medals, and more than 70 state championships since its founding. Oakwood also has a strong track record of player development, having produced more than 25 collegiate All-Americans, 18 national team players and has more than 25 alumni competing in professional soccer.
