U.S. U-15 Boys National Team heading to Florida for March camp with 24 players
ATLANTA – U.S. Under-15 Boys’ National Team head coach Ross Brady has named a 24-player roster for the team’s domestic training camp to be held March 16-23 in West Palm Beach, Fla.
The camp is part of the Federation’s continued focus on the U.S. Way philosophy, which emphasizes increased programming for Youth National Teams to create more opportunities for young players to advance through the pathway to the senior National Team with the goal of representing their country at a world championship.
Thirteen of the 17 clubs represented on the roster come from Major League Soccer setups. Columbus Crew have three selections, followed by two apiece from Chicago Fire, Houston Dynamo, Orlando City and San Jose Earthquakes. One player will come to camp from Atlanta United, Charlotte FC, Colorado Rapids, D.C. United, LAFC, Red Bull New York, Philadelphia Union and Portland Timbers.
Four other players come from clubs that play in MLS Next, with two from Barca Residency Academy, and one apiece from Cedar Stars Academy-Bergen and Phoenix Rising. The roster is rounded out with one selection from Liga MX side CF Monterrey.
All players are born after Jan. 1, 2011.
