U.S. U-16 Boys National Team roster selected for February training camp in Georgia
ATLANTA – U.S. Under-16 Boys’ National Team head coach Paul Simpson has named a 24-player roster for the team’s domestic training camp to be held from Feb. 11-18 at McCurry Park in Fayetteville, Ga.
The camp is part of the Federation’s continued focus on the U.S. Way philosophy, which emphasizes increased programming for Youth National Teams to create more opportunities for young players to advance through the pathway to the senior National Team with the goal of representing their country at a world championship.
The U-16 BNT will use the February camp to continue its preparation for the 2027 Concacaf U-17 Qualifiers, which serves as qualification for the 2027 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar.
All 24 players come from Major League Soccer setups, representing 13 different clubs. Atlanta United leads the way with four players selected, followed by three each from Colorado Rapids, FC Dallas and Seattle Sounders and two from Charlotte FC and Nashville SC. Austin FC, FC Cincinnati, D.C. United, LA Galaxy, Orlando City and San Jose Earthquakes will each send one player to camp.
All players were born on or after Jan. 1, 2010.
