Solar SC and USYNT star Rylee McLanahan signs with Duke for 2026
DURHAM, N.C. – Duke women’s soccer head coach Kieran Hall has added a top six recruit nationally and two-time Oklahoma Girls Soccer Gatorade Player of the Year – Rylee McLanahan – to the Blue Devils’ 2026 class.
McLanahan, who hails from Edmond, Oklahoma, is ranked No. 6 in the TopDrawerSoccer 2026 overall class rankings. Standing 5-7, she is the top midfielder heading to college in the class. McLanahan is a true goal scorer who registered impressive numbers at Edmond North High School. She tallied 107 goals, 42 assists and 256 points in only 45 matches. McLanahan has represented the United States on many different levels, including recently traveling to Portugal with the U-19 Youth National Team.
McLanahan joins Natalie Chudowsky and Sofia Nuñez in Duke’s 2026 class.

- Member of U.S. U-18 and U-17 domestic training camp rosters and U-15 and U-16 U.S. Youth National Team player pool
- ECNL All-American, three-time ECNL All-Conference selection and two-time ECNL Playoffs Best XI honoree
- In three seasons of high school soccer, totaled 107 goals, 42 assists and 256 points in 45 matches
- Set the 6A single-season goal-scoring record in Oklahoma with 42 goals as a junior
- Two-time Oklahoma Girls’ Soccer Gatorade Player of the Year as a sophomore and junior
- Two-time Jim Thorpe Player of the Year for Girls’ Soccer as a sophomore and junior
- Named High School Sports Awards Girls’ Soccer Player of the Year as a junior
- 2025 All-City Player of the Year as a junior
- Led her Edmond North H.S. team to the 6A Girls Soccer 2024 State Championship
- Competed for the Oklahoma City FC WPSL team in 2025 and earned Midwest Conference/Heartland Division Offensive Player of the Year
- Three-time All-City, All-District and All-Conference selection
