George Washington women’s soccer team introduces 2026 signing class

WASHINGTON – Head Coach Jeremy Williams and the George Washington women’s soccer team welcomed six players to its incoming class on National Signing Day.

The group, which will graduate in the class of 2030, is comprised of Madison Dockery, Sophia Michel, Kolby Moss, Halle Ostboe, Ella Provost-Heron and McKenna Wickman.

“We are very excited to welcome the class of 2030 to GW,” Williams said. “All six of these young women exhibit a competitive drive, a desire to be the best that they can be, and a hunger to push the program to one that competes for championships each year. We are excited to get them on campus and integrate them into the team.”

Madison Dockery
Ashburn, Va. | Briar Woods H.S. | 5′ 7″ | Defender

Four-year member of the Briar Woods girls soccer program… Competed for both Fairfax Union and Virginia Development Academy during her club career… Selected to the ECNL St. Louis National Game in 2024… Two-time Mid-Atlantic Conference Champion in club soccer… Qualified for the ECNL Champions League in multiple seasons… Member of the Elite Eight U18/U19 team in the 2019 ECNL Champions League… Member of the National Honor Society, the Key Club, DECA, Students for the Troops and FBLA.

Sophia Michel
Bowie, Md. | Elizabeth Seton H.S. | 5’4″ | Forward

Three-time WCAC All-Conference honoree with Elizabeth Seton… Earned a varsity letter in all four years of high school… Named her high school’s varsity captain for her final three varsity years… Named the team’s Attacking Player of the Year following the 2024-25 season… Competed for the Bowie Boys and Girls, ASA, Liverpool, Premier, Baltimore Celtic and Bethesda SC during her club career… Invitee to the Mid-Atlantic Talent Showcase from 2022-24… Two-time ODP State Team honoree… Belongs to the Asian Student Union and Black Student Union at Elizabeth Seton… Honor roll student all four years and is a certified pharmacy technician.

Kolby Moss
Atlanta, Ga. | Atlanta International School | 5’7″ | Defender

Three-year varsity starter in high school… Named the team’s MVP her freshman season… Named Georgia’s Upper School Female Athlete of the Year following her sophomore campaign… Named to the All-Region First Team in all three of her varsity seasons… Played for Concorde Fire Soccer Club, being named a captain… Helped lead her club team to the national playoffs in four consecutive years… Named to the U17 Southeast All-Conference First Team… Named to the U16 Southeast All-Conference Second Team… Also a standout basketball player, earning team MVP honors in three seasons and being named to the all-region team… Member of the Theatre Tech Club and the Film Club.

Halle Ostboe
Manhattan Beach, Calif. | Mira Costa H.S. | 5’6″ | Defender

Three-year varsity starter for Mira Costa… Led the team to a CIF-Southern Section Division I quarterfinal appearance in 2023… Led the team to a Bay League Championship in 2024… All-Conference and All-Defensive honoree in 2024 as well… CIF-Southern Section Open Division Semifinalist in 2024… CIF regional semifinalist in 2024… Competed with Beach FC ECNL during her club career… Four-time qualifier for the ECNL Playoffs… Appeared in the ECNL National Championship in 2023… Member of the National Charity League… Member of the National Honor Society… Recipient of the California Scholastic Federation… Holds the Seal of Biliteracy.

Ella Provost-Heron

Somerset Academy’s Offensive Player of the Year in 2023-24 and 2024-25… Team MVP following the 2024-25 season… Named to the Sun Sentinel First Team in 2023-24 and 2024-25… Miami Herald First Team honoree in 2023-24 and 2024-25… Second Team selection with the Miami Herald in 2022-23… Competed with West Pines FC, Weston FC and Football Club Prime during her club career… Competed with the Jamaica U17 & U18 National Team… Named to the Southeast All-Conference Second Team in 2022-23 during club action… Member of the Black Student Union, the Science National Honors Society, Empower ME and the National Junior Honors Society.

McKenna Wickman
Fort Lauderdale, Fla. | NSU University School | 5’6″ | Forward

Helped lead NSU University School to three District and Regional Championships… 2023 3A State Runner-Up in Florida… Named her team’s 2025-26 Team Captain… 2025 All-Broward Second Team honoree… Named the 2025 Varsity Playmaker Award winner… Played for Florida Kraze Krush ECNL, Florida United GA, FC Prime ECNL and ODP Florida State Team during her club career… 2023-24 ECNL Playoffs Qualifier… Three-Star Athlete for Top Drawer Soccer… A very accomplished track athlete as well, qualifying for the state meet in 2025 and making regional and district appearances in the 800m… Member of the National Honor Society… Head of the School’s Honor Roll.
