TCU claims 2nd straight Big 12 Regular Season Championship after win over Houston
TCU claimed its second consecutive Big 12 regular season title following a 2-0 victory over Houston on Thursday. The Horned Frogs finished the 11-game league play schedule with a record of 9-1-1 and earned 28 points on the way to their fourth overall Big 12 regular season title run since winning their first title in 2020.
TCU clinched the No. 1 seed for the 2025 Big 12 Soccer Tournament, which they will serve as the host of the quarterfinal and semifinal matches. The home team opens its postseason facing No. 8 seed BYU on Monday at 2 p.m. CT.
West Virginia secured the No. 2 seed with an undefeated 8-0-3 record, followed by the No. 3-seed Colorado and No. 4-seeded Texas Tech.
The 2025 Big 12 Soccer Tournament will be held Nov. 3, 5 and 8, hosted at campus locations for the first time in Conference history. Monday’s quarterfinal and Wednesday’s semifinal matches will be played at TCU’s Garvey-Rosenthal Soccer Stadium, while Saturday’s championship match will be contested at Baylor’s Betty Lou Mays Soccer Field.
The Tournament kicks off on Monday with No. 4 seed Texas Tech against No. 5 seed Baylor at 11:30 a.m. CT. All action of the Big 12 postseason event will be streamed on ESPN+.

For fans planning to attend Monday or Wednesday, gates will open an hour prior to the first game, parking is free and lots will open two hours prior to game time.
