ECNL Girls Finals 2025: Championship matchups decided on Day 2

After a completed regular season, four games at the ECNL Girls National Playoffs and two more at the ECNL Girls National Finals, the stage is finally set.

Ten teams have clinched their spot in a National Championship match, one win away from lifting a trophy. Check out who advanced and who was knocked out below in the ECNL Girls National Finals Day 2 recap.

U17 National Championship: Real Colorado National vs. Sting Black

A pair of clean sheets highlighted the U17 bracket in the semifinals, as Real Colorado National shutout VDA 2-0, while Sting Black held off Slammers FC HB Køge with a 1-0 victory.

U16 National Championship: MVLA vs. KC Athletics

Fueled by two second-half goals, KC Athletics moved on to the U16 National Championship with a win against reigning national champions San Diego Surf. At the top of the bracket, MVLA fired home a first half goal and held on defensively in the second half to advance to the title game with a 1-0 win against Penn Fusion SA.

KC Athletics def. San Diego Surf 2-0

U15 National Championship: Legends FC vs. Michigan Hawks

Michigan Hawks had one of the best offensive outputs of the day, defeating Solar SC 3-0 in the first semifinal. In the bottom half of the bracket, Legends FC moved past Bay Area Surf in PKs thanks to two big saves from goalkeeper Bella Martin to head to the U15 National Championship match.

Michigan Hawks def. Solar SC 3-0

U14 National Championship: San Diego Surf vs. Michigan Hawks

It came down to the very last kick, but San Diego Surf advanced to the U14 National Championship in penalties after besting So Cal Blues 0-0(5-4) in one semifinal match, while Michigan Hawks sent Concorde Fire Platinum back to Atlanta with a 2-1 victory.

U13 National Championship: Slammers FC HB Køge vs. San Diego Surf

The youngest age group in the ECNL Girls National Finals played two tight matches, with San Diego Surf defeating Charlotte SA 2-1 thanks to a converted PK in the final minutes of the game, while Slammers FC HB Køge handed fellow conference foe Beach FC (CA) a 2-0 defeat in the other semifinal contest.
