ECNL Boys National Finals 2025: Semifinal spots decided on Day 1

Day 1 of the ECNL Boys National Finals was packed with exciting games in all age groups, with multiple age groups needing PKs to decide the semifinalists. Get caught up on all the action from Day 1 and the matchups for the semifinals.

U17 Bracket

Late game heroics was the theme for the U17 bracket, as OK Energy FC advanced past Florida Premier thanks to a goal in the 85th minute, while SLSG bested Concorde Fire Platinum in PKs due to goalkeeper Cody Baden’s two saves in the shootout. Meanwhile, XF Academy and KC Athletics earned clean sheets en route to a 2-0 win against BVBIA and a 1-0 win against MVLA, respectively.

U16 Bracket

The U16 bracket was full of dramatics on Day 1 at West Creek Soccer Complex. A last-minute stunner pushed Pateadores past STA 2-1, while Florida Premier weathered a late push by Solar SC to win 4-2. Dallas Texans moved on with a 3-2 win against Match Fit Academy, and NCFC Youth Academy advanced to the semifinals with a 3-1 win against LVU Rush.

U15 Bracket

STA pulled out a thrilling victory against Conocorde Fire Platinum, earning a win in PKs thanks to strong play from goalkeeper Vayun Swamy, making a save and forcing two more misses. Three So Cal squads round out the other U15 semifinalists, with Beach FC (CA) defeating NTH-NASA 2-1, Legends FC defeating Albion Colorado 4-1 and San Diego Surf defeating Rebels SC 2-1.

Pateadores also earned a 3-1 win against LV Heat Surf, setting up a strong group of semifinalists.
