Photo Gallery: Day 7 of the ECNL National Championships (Part I)

There’s so much that happened on the last day of the 2012 ECNL National Championships at Waukegan Sports Park in Waukegan, Ill. that we couldn’t hold it in just one photo gallery. This is the first of two photo galleries. Part I features shots from the Under-16 and Under-17 Challenge A Finals on Saturday, June 30, 2012.
Both of those games were tightly contested matches. In the U-16 final, Slammers FC rallied from a two-goal first half deficit to defeat Dallas Sting 3-2 in overtime, while it took more than that in the U-17 final, as penalty kicks decided that one, with CASL Chelsea Ladies returning to North Carolina with their second-consecutive national championship, outlasting the Michigan Hawks.
Part II, which will be posted soon, will feature highlights from the U-18 final, as well as the U-16 and U-17 Challenge B finals played Saturday afternoon.
