PDA announces hiring of coach Tom Worthington

(Via PDA) – Players Development Academy (PDA) has announced the hiring of coach Tom Worthington, previously of STA Soccer.
Worthington arrived in the States in 2009 after working at Fulham FC in England, prior to that Tom served as the Director of Coaching in Australia for the Macaurthur Rams.
In his nine years at STA, Worthington has won State Championships and taken his teams to regional and national finals. He was the head coach of the Morris County Colonials and the Jersey Blues womens team that played in the WPSL. He also spent 3 years as an Assistant Coach at FDU in Madison.
Worthington also served as STAs College recruitment coordinator. In last year’s graduating class at STA, he was instrumental in placing 23 players in college to play soccer, many of whom he coached for 8 years.
He holds a UEFA B license, USSF B license and also a BA in Sports and Fitness.
