New York SC 98 Boys win Dallas Cup U-17 Division
(Via New York SC) – The New York SC 98 Boys were crowned champions at the Dallas Cup in the U-17 age group. After a grueling week of five group and knockout stage games, the boys took the championship game against Texas side Solar Chelsea SC with a 2-0 win, capping off an undefeated event.
This crowns a fantastic run for the boys that began two years ago in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy U-14 level, and an NPL National Championship in the summer of 2015.
The Dallas Cup is one of the most challenging boys tournaments in the U.S., drawing teams from all over the world. New York SC played six matches over the course of seven days at the event, including three group games, a quarterfinal match, a semifinal match and the final against Solar Chelsea.

New York SC posted a perfect 6-0-0 record overall, outscoring opponents by a combined score of 12-2. The dominant back line shut out five of six opponents, which included five domestic teams and LFC Foundation from the United Kingdom.
