U.S. U-19 Women’s National Team set for CFA Tournament in China
The U.S. Under-19 Women’s National Team will travel to the Duyun, China from Sept. 2-15 to participate in the CFA International Women’s Youth Football Tournament that also features the Under-20 Women’s National Teams of Iran, Japan and host China PR. All matches will be played at the Qiannan Fitness Center Main Stadium.
U.S. U-18 Women’s National Team defeats Australia U-19s 2-1
The U.S. Under-18 Women’s National Team came from behind to defeat the Australia U-19 WNT by a 2-1 score in the first of two games between the sides. The second match will take place on July 12, also in Canberra, as the USA concludes its trip Down Under.
U.S. U-18 Women’s National Team roster set for Australia trip
The U.S. Under-18 Women’s National Team will travel to Canberra, the capital of Australia, from June 28-July 13 for a training camp and three matches. U.S. U-18 WNT head coach Jaime Frias has called up 20 players for the trip Down Under that will see the USA play against the Under-20 teams from Canada and Australia (twice).
U.S. U-19 WNT heads to Czech Republic for two friendlies
The U.S. Under-19 Women’s National Team will travel to the Czech Republic from June 5-14 for its first trip abroad this year. The trip will feature two international matches as the USA takes on the full Czech Republic Women’s National Team (which is ranked 36th in the world) on Saturday, June 10, and then will face the Czech Republic U-19 WNT on Tuesday, June 13.
