(Via US Youth Soccer) – With the 2015 National Championships kicking off July 21, US Youth Soccer has published an article series previewing every age group from U-13 to U-19 detailing each team’s journey to Tulsa, Oklahoma.

See below for a look at the U-13 boys division.

+Scores and Schedule

Group A

Baltimore Celtic Darby 01/02 (MD)
– Region I Champ
Sporting J.B. Marine – Mann (MO) – Region II Champ
SCUFC 01 Elite (SC) – Region III Champ
EC Real Galaxy FC 01 (CA-N) – Region IV Champ

The Newcomers

The youngest age group on the boys’ side will feature four teams entering their first US Youth Soccer National Championship. All four teams won their respective 2015 State Cup and Regional Championships, but which team will add “2015 National Champion” to its resume remains to be seen. Baltimore Celtic Darby 01/02 (MD) enters the tournament as one of four Baltimore Celtic teams competing at the 2015 National Championships, and is the only squad to have made two-straight regional finals. Sporting J. B. Marine – Mann, (MO) who will represent Region II, has plenty of experience in close matches as the Missouri squad has won both its state and regional title by a 1-0 score on top of needing overtime to advance out of the regional semifinals. SCUFC 01 Elite (SC) features a plethora of South Carolina Olympic Development Program (ODP) players, and the rest of the group will have to deal with multiple scoring threats as SCUFC had three players rank in the top-3 goal scorers at the 2015 Region III Championships. Rounding out the group is EC Real Galaxy FC 01 (CA-N), whose 2015 Region IV Championships quarterfinal and semifinals wins came against teams from Pateadores (CA-S), a club that has won three National Championships in the last two years.
