United Soccer Coaches releases new NCAA Men’s Soccer Rankings

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Via United Soccer Coaches) – Seven new teams moved into the No. 1 spot in their respective rankings as United Soccer Coaches released the latest set of rankings for men’s and women’s college soccer on Tuesday.

Wake Forest remains undefeated and continues to hold down the No. 1 ranking in the Division I men’s poll. Defending national champion Stanford extended its unbeaten streak to 31 games and sits at No. 1 in the women’s ranking.

There are two new No. 1 ranked teams in NCAA Division II with Simon Fraser taking over the top spot in the men’s poll and UC San Diego leading the women’s rankings.

At the NCAA Division III level, Messiah College continues to sit atop the men’s poll, while Washington University (Mo.) takes over the No. 1 ranking on the women’s side.

Monroe College-New Rochelle is ranked No. 1 in the NJCAA Men’s Division I poll for the second straight week, while Tyler Junior College regained the top spot in the women’s ranking. In NJCAA Division III Herkimer College moved up one spot to grab the No. 1 ranking, while Cerritos College stays on top of the women’s poll.

At the NCCAA Division I level Oklahoma Wesleyan stayed put at No. 1 in the Division I men’s poll, while Trinity Christian College took over sole possession of the top spot in the women’s ranking after being tied for first last week. In Division II, Trinity Baptist College moved up to grab the top ranking in the men’s poll, while Bob Jones University took over the top spot in the women’s ranking.
