Describe your emotions after committing to JMU.
“Relieved and very excited. Relieved that the whole recruitment process is over and excited for the next 4 years and the challenges that will come with them.”
What are you going to miss most about club soccer?
“My teammates. I’ve been playing with these guys for years through all the ups and downs and I will definitely miss playing with them.”
What do you plan on majoring in at JMU?
“Either something in business or in education.”
In what areas has PWSI helped you grow as a player?
“PWSI has made me the player that I am today. I’ve played here my whole life and have grown a lot as a player over the years.”
What advice can you give younger players in the club getting ready to go through the recruiting process?
“Be persistent. Keep contacting the coaches about all of your games and events for them to see you play. It will let them know that you are seriously interested and it won’t annoy them if you keep contacting them. You have to keep on the coaches and make sure they get out to see you play.”
How long have you played at PWSI?
“Four years, I joined the club as a freshman in high school.”
Describe your emotions after committing to American University?
“After committing I was really excited, and thankful. It felt like all the hard work I had put in was finally paying off. Also, because the recruitment process is so complicated, i just felt relieved that it was over and that I had found a school that matched both my academic and athletic desires.”
What are you going to miss most about club soccer?
“Oh gosh. That’s so hard. I’ll really miss the club atmosphere of being surrounded by all these different ages of boys and girls, all wearing the same logo. Even if you don’t know all the teams, you’re familiar with so many faces and practicing along side and with them it just feels like a family. But what I’ll miss the most is my best friends, my teammates, and my coaches. This team is special, and Mike (Coach Cullina) has fit into our squad perfectly. I”ll really miss Lloyd (Coach Yaxley), I’ve known him for seven years now, and we both switched from my old club to PWSI at around the same time, I would not be the goalkeeper I am today without him.”
What do you plan on majoring in at American University?
“Political Science.”
In what areas has PWSI helped you grow as a player?
“When I joined PWSI I had a lot of potential but my skills were not refined at all. Because of the coaches here, I really was able to become a much more polished and confident player.”
What advice can you give younger players in the club getting ready to go through the recruiting process?
“Call Coaches! Just pick up the phone and call them, even if they can’t return your calls. Obviously make sure you send emails but a call is so much more productive. Once you get them on the phone with you, you have an opportunity to make yourself a real person to them, not just an e-mail username.”

Describe your emotions after committing to VCU?
“I was very relieved knowing all my hard work paid off, and I was super excited to get the opportunity to play at a higher level.”
What are you going to miss most about club soccer?
“Mike (Coach Cullina). HAHA. Just kidding, the friendships and memories I’ve made.”
What do you plan on majoring in, at VCU?
“I’m leaning towards business but I’m still not sure yet.”
In what areas has PWSI helped you grow as a player?
“With the variety of coaches I’ve had, I’ve been able to learn something different with each one to help my game.”
What advice can you give younger players in the club getting ready to go through the recruiting process?
“To reach out to a lot of colleges and keep your options open, and to be realistic with the type of school you would want to attend.”
How long have you played at PWSI?
“A little over 4 years.”

“I was so over joyed and felt like all my hard work had paid off.”
What are you going to miss most about club soccer?
“My teammates.”
What do you plan on majoring in, at JMU?
“I’ll probably go in undecided but I plan on doing either Health Management and Administration or Intelligence Analysis.”
In what areas has PWSI helped you grow as a player?
“They’ve really helped me in all aspects of becoming a better player. I guess one area that stands out is probably my confidence and learning to play as a team/play good soccer.”
What advice can you give younger players in the club getting ready to go through the recruiting process?
“Start early, keep your options open, and stay patient.”
How long have you played at PWSI?
“Almost a year.”
Describe your emotions after committing to Winthrop?
“I was really excited, it was also a big relief to know all my hard work had paid off.”
What are you going to miss most about club soccer?
“I will miss my teammates more than anything.”
What do you plan on majoring in, at Winthrop?
“I plan on majoring in sports management.”
In what areas has PWSI helped you grow as a player?
“PWSI has helped me by providing a competitive atmosphere to train in and instilling a quality style of play.”
What advice can you give younger players in the club getting ready to go through the recruiting process?
“Just to relax, that you don’t have to rush the recruiting process and find the right fit for you individually academically and athletically.”
How long have you played at PWSI?
“I’ve been at the club since I started playing soccer, so about the age of 4 or 5.”
Describe your emotions after committing to Howard?
“I was very excited! I’m a city girl and Howard is right in DC which is wonderful and I love the atmosphere and school as a whole. Not to mention the players and coaches there are great!”
What are you going to miss most about club soccer?
“The people I met and friendships I made on the team and throughout the club. So my teammates, coaches, and even people on other teams.”
What do you plan on majoring in, at Howard?
“I’m not really sure, but I’m thinking major in biology and minor in business.”
In what areas has PWSI helped you grow as a player?
“Both technically and tactically I’ve grown as a player because of PWSI.”
What advice can you give younger players in the club getting ready to go through the recruiting process?
“Starting early is key, don’t wait too long to look at colleges. Also being proactive is very important! They should be calling and e-mailing their favorite colleges. Any chance they get for them t come out and see them. Lastly, they shouldn’t put all their eggs into one basket, you never know what can happen.”

“Since my freshman year of High School.”
Describe your emotions after committing to Radford?
“I was very excited because its always been a dream to play D1 soccer, and i was relieved that i finally a place that i loved and could see myself at.”
What are you going to miss most about club soccer?
” I am going to miss all the girls on my team the most. We have gone through so much together, and we’re not only best friends but we’re a family. And of course Mike (Coach Cullina).”
What do you plan on majoring in, at Radford?
“Business or Marketing.”
In what areas has PWSI helped you grow as a player?
“PWSI has helped me with my confidence as well as my fitness and foot skills”.
What advice can you give younger players in the club getting ready to go through the recruiting process?
“Start talking to college coaches early because it’s good to get on the radar, but don’t settle for a school you aren’t completely in love with”
How long have you played at PWSI?
“I’ve been at PWSI for almost 2 years, I joined the spring of my sophomore year!”
Describe your emotions after committing to LSU?
“I couldn’t believe it was true when I first committed. LSU has been my dream school since I was a kid so I was incredibly happy.”
What are you going to miss most about club soccer?
“I’m going to miss my teammates and coaches more than anything. Seeing everyone sign to different schools hit me hard and made me realize I only have a few more months with these amazing girls.”
What do you plan on majoring in, at LSU?
“I have no idea yet.”
In what areas has PWSI helped you grow as a player?
“PWSI has reminded me of my love for the game. When I came to PWSI I just played the game I loved while keeping everything at a high pace.”
What advice can you give younger players in the club getting ready to go through the recruiting process?
“I would say to never rule any schools out early on. I mean I can’t speak from experience but I’ve seen girls who said o to schools and ended up wishing they were still talking to them later on.”

“9 Years”
Describe your emotions after committing to New Mexico?
“Excited and relieved that I’m officially a Lobo.”
What are you going to miss most about club soccer?
“My teammates definitely. They are my best friends and we are so close as a team. They’re my family and I’ve been best friends with some of them since I was 9.”
What do you plan on majoring in, at New Mexico?
“Sports Marketing and Mass Communication.”
In what areas has PWSI helped you grow as a player?
“PWSI taught me how to be quick on my feet and to be the defender I am today. They have taught me how to be a team player, psychologically strong, and to challenge and push myself to be a better player every day on and off the field.
What advice can you give younger players in the club getting ready to go through the recruiting process?
“Never give up and keep your college options open to all colleges. As a player I went through a lot to say the least with the college recruiting process but in the end I ended up exactly where I needed to be. Keep your options open to all colleges because you never know which one could be the one for you. Just because you don’t commit as as junior year hits, doesn’t mean you won’t. Be patient and remember that being patient is key when it comes to college.”
